Effective utilization of resources
In all our operations we always strive to utilize limited resources in an efficient way to prevent or minimize harmful effects of our operations on the environment.
While we regard compliance with all environmental laws and regulations in the countries where we operate as essential, we also, when it is ecologically justified, technically possible and economically reasonable, improve our environmental performance beyond legal requirements.
Proact follows an approach that results in long-term sustainable development in its operations. Consequently, Proact strives for high efficiency in the use of all limited resources; promote systems for recycling and recovery of materials and work to prevent pollution and any work-related illness and injury.
Environmental goals
Proact is a non manufacturing production company but takes the responsibility as a member of the Swedish Naturvårdsverkets EE-register and complies by the instructions based on the Swedish ordinance SFS 2005:209. This ordinance is based on the WEEE-Directive – Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment.
Proact is also connected to the Swedish REPA register, and reports packing and wrapping in order to regulation.
